07-28-2026 - Good Morning! It’s Tuesday, and I don’t have anything important on my schedule. I usually start my morning with Morse code running in the background on my old Amateur (ham) Radio Yaesu 857D. Yet, this morning, I’m listening to the CB Radio band come alive with “skip shooters” making long-distance contacts. My Folgers Black Silk coffee is ready.
07-27-2026 - The Extra Income Mail Order industry needs more booklets. Everyone has valuable information of one type or another that could easily be put into booklet format and sold through this and other advertising venues. Here’s a pic of a comb-binding booklet maker that I’ve had for 30 years. I haven’t used it in a few years, so maybe I should dust it off and activate it!
07-26-2026 - There was not much in the mail today. I received the usual gifting programs, a few unidentified programs on postcards (I look at those just long enough to verify that it's a program), and an offer for counterfeit postage stamps. Since I don't do programs, most of the mail I get these days is of no interest to me. The type of mail that interests me is mail for products and services for Mail Order Dealers; however, these offers don't generate enough profit to justify solo mailings. These are best advertised on websites like this one and in printed advertising publications.

07-27-2026 - I’ve been going “around and around” with the USPS about their “gitchy” online ordering stamp system and the failure to ship an order 13 days after charging my credit card. I’m not talking about non-delivery; the stamps had not even shipped. When I complained twice, I received a nonsensical reply each time saying the situation had been resolved, when it had not. This morning, I received an email saying my account had been closed at my request. I have a credit card charge dispute in progress with my card company.

07-27-2026 - Good Morning! It’s Monday, and time to catch up on the yard mowing I missed while playing at the lake over the weekend. I’m still waiting on a response to the 16 postcards I mailed offering a free ad. I’m not surprised. Over the years, I’ve found it harder to give away stuff than to sell it. Interesting. Let’s see what the day brings. My Folgers Black Silk coffee is ready.
