09-04-2026 - Good Morning! Today is Friday, and its importance varies from person to person. If you work Monday through Friday, it’s a very important day. If you’re retired, it might be just another day. Today is also National Lazy Mom’s Day, National Wildlife Day, National Macadamia Nut Day, National Food Bank Day, National Chianti Day, International Taekwondo Day, and Jimmy Buffett Day. MY Folgers BLack Silk coffee is ready!
09-03-2026 - This is another call for one or more Mail Order Dealers to publish a PDF adsheet. The expense of doing so plummets compared to a printed adsheet. While both print and PDF adsheets must be advertised, there is no real expense in distributing the PDF version. The PDF adsheet will hold more ads than you can sell in a lifetime, yet the cost of distributing them remains fixed. You can send “checking” and complimentary copies by email. You can make them downloadable from your website, and they can be stored on the recipient’s device. Websites, by the way, are dirt cheap these days. But just because you don't have to mail it doesn't mean you can't. Copy it to a thumb drive (buy them in bulk), wrap it securely, and drop it in an envelope.
09-03-2026 - Not long ago, I saw an interesting ad in a Mail Order publication that included a website address. I entered the address into my browser, hit "Enter," and I was presented with a Google Drive sign-in page. I'm puzzled as to why this roadblock was thrown up when all I want to do is see the advertised product. Could it be that the owner didn't know about the issue because they were already signed in? I run into the same thing on Facebook.

09-03-2026 - Good Morning! It’s Thursday, and another hot day (103 degrees) is ahead. We always seem to be on the edge of a drought, and my city is approving data centers. I’m not sure what to think about that. Today is National Welsh Rarebit Day, National Skyscraper Day, and US Bowling League Day. Since it's National Skyscraper Day, I'll mention that my town is home to the World's Littlest Skyscraper. Check it out on Wikipedia. Also, I binged Spider Noir on Prime. My review: I was entertained! My Folgers Black Silk coffee is ready.
