09-28-2026 - The developer is offering $10,000 to every household in Hazle Township, Pennsylvania, if a data center gets built. I don’t know what to think about that. I’m nowhere near there, so maybe I shouldn’t think about it at all.
09-28-2026 - I saw a sales circular with "fine print" explaining what it was selling. Why? Because very little of that was covered in the main body of the circular. Why? Because it's not really about the product; it's about recruiting people to sell the product. The product itself? Nothing special. It's available anywhere you look in the Extra Income Mail Order industry. Come on, people. Can't we make the simple sale of products and services great again?

09-28-2026 - Mail Order Dealer Website Idea #9 - Co-Op Advertising Group - I thought about this type of program back in my "disk publishing" days of the mid-1990s. It will work just as well, if not better, on websites. It involves getting a handful of advertising publishers together who agree to place the advertising of all members of the group in their publications. So, when one member sells a text ad, he sends it to the other web publishers who put it on their websites, at no charge. This requires that members agree to the type of advertising they will accept - text is a lot easier - pricing, and how long ads will stay posted. Members can advertise something like, "Buy ad space on my site, and that ad will be posted to (insert number here) other websites for the same term." Adjust this idea to fit your needs.

09-27-2026 - Mail Order Dealer Website Idea #8 - Sell Bulk Ad Space - I've never seen this done before, but I've thought about doing it myself. Offer to sell plain text ad space in blocks of 1,000, 2000, 5,000, or 10,000 words. Then, specify how long a person has to use those words. Also, specify the minimum and maximum words per ad. For example, you might not want to sell 10,000 words if the purchaser can submit them 25 words at a time. You might both be in a retirement home with 1,000 words left! Consider allowing ads to be posted on behalf of other dealers. The only rules for this idea are the rules you come up with.

09-27-2026 - Good Morning! It's Sunday, and we actually got a little rain yesterday. Today is International Rabbit Day, World Rivers Day, National Chocolate Milk Day, National Corned Beef Hash Day, National Crush a Can Day, International Week of Deaf People, Ancestor Appreciation Day, Nature & Environment, Seed Gathering Season, and National Day of Forgiveness. My Folgers Black Silk coffee is ready.
09-26-2026 - I received another gifting program in the mail today. The circular asks that I send $10 to the four listed names. One name is listed twice. Interesting. The circular throws around a lot of income claims and buzzwords like levels, positions, infinity, and so on. All I get in return is a copy of the circular with my name in position #1. No product or service is delivered. I would then mail out the circular, trolling for more "participants." This is known as "paper-passing."
09-26-2026 - A St. Louis man was arrested after offering a Letter Carrier $20,000 for all the mail in her truck. That must have been a high-value business route with known high-dollar checks, etc., coming and going. In related news, the USPS is partnering with Next Base to put cameras on various postal vehicles. Could these be vehicles in areas where offers are made to buy the mail for $20,000?
